Students Across the Globe

When a student is pondering about going abroad, typically the first question is where? There are countless countries and programs one may choose from which makes the decision even more difficult. Sometimes, asking people who have already gone abroad can offer insight to help other students make a decision.

“I chose to go abroad because I wanted to experience another culture and see what else the world has to offer,” said Keene State junior Rachel Riley. “I chose to go to Australia because I have always been fascinated by it. There is something alluring about how isolated it is. I wanted to see what the culture was like and learn all about the people and wildlife.”

  1. Taylor- I think this article does a great job explaining and plotting where different students choose to study abroad. There are so many options when picking a host country and it’s very intriguing to find out where students choose to go. I really liked your use of quotes in the beginning of the piece. That little bit of information really helped the reader flow into the rest of the story which was more research-heavy. Great post! -Katie O’Brien
